What We Do
Getaway and Enjoy Life
We provide the opportunity for the elderly in nursing facilities to getaway and enjoy life. Think of us as a retreat center or camp that the elderly can enjoy as a break from their nursing homes.The daily routine of a nursing home can become dull and draining. We want to be a destination that they can look forward to visiting and bring back the joy of life to them.

Why We're Here
Hi, I'm Harold Reeves Jr. and I married my wife, Cynthia (Cindy), when she was 24 years old and we had a great marriage. I spent the entire time making sure my wife had everything she needed as an adult she didn't have growing up.Although my wife had every reason and right to want everything she could get for herself, she simply wasn't like that. She was always helping anyone or anything that needed a home. Children at the orphanage that needed clothes or Christmas gifts, the hungry at the food pantry, supporting displaced animals, or our church ministry.My wife touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with and I never met a more liked or respected person in our community or at her work. We were married for 29 great years before she discovered at the age of 52 she had colon cancer and from the 1st day of the diagnosis she only lived 34 days.I started Christian Community Outreach to fulfill her dream of helping the people in nursing facilities have a more enjoyable life before they pass away. We want to be a Christian example to the world. And this ministry is an extension of her vision and by giving the elderly a chance for a short-term visit to our facility it gives them something to look forward to.*We're in the process of raising $1.5M to purchase a 300 acre property to make this a reality.
